Pamela by Doc’s Jack Sprat). His name comes from a phrase in a John
Denver song . . . “fire in his heart,” meaning courageous enthusiasm
(in Spanish). I have had people tell me I should not have named him
“Heartburn” especially being by Peptoboonsmal. As I have watched Ian
Chisholm bring this colt to the 2005 NCHA Futurity I have seen MANY
more days of courage than heartburn. He HUNTS cows with his ears
flicking fore and aft and an obvious enthusiasm for his job. He does
things physically correct and he has style. Fuego has a fire in his
heart; he was named properly. |
